چکیده
Background: Despite the presence of stomata in leaves, foliar application agrochemicals can be extremely inefficient due to low permeability leaf cuticular surfaces polar compounds. Methods: This study introduced a laser-based “wax exfoliation” method facilitate penetration substances into and, together with enhancing their uptake phloem and subsequent transport across tissue. This investigation demonstrated effectiveness non-invasive properties laser exfoliation improve foliar-applied citrus leaves. Results: work presents use energy exfoliate cuticle leaf, highest density 0.76 J/ cm2 resulting 85-90% entire laser-spot area. The infrared wavelength erbium is specifically chosen target wax without causing damage underlying epidermal cells. selective ablation allows for increased therapeutic compounds transportation throughout plant's vasculature. using fluorescent glucose analog applied treated showing leaf. Conclusions: Our findings demonstrate that technology provides significant advantages, including improved foliage compounds. presented this highly effective non-intrusive, limiting its effects only. Future should focus on development prototypes in-field applications, testing at longer distances as Er:YAG does not require lens application.

The use of laser light to enhance the uptake of foliar-applied substances into citrus (Citrus sinensis) leaves1
PREMISE OF THE STUDY Uptake of foliar-applied substances across the leaf cuticle is central to world food production as well as for physiological investigations into phloem structure and function. Yet, despite the presence of stomata, foliar application as a delivery system can be extremely inefficient due to the low permeability of leaf surfaces to polar compounds. METHODS Using laser light ...

متن کاملMicroscale Laser-Induced Fluorescence Method for Non-Intrusive Temperature Measurement
Ratiometric Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) Thermometry is applied for temperature measurements in a ‘T’ junction, using microscale visualization methods. Rhodamine B (RhB) and Rhodamine 110 (Rh110) are used as the temperature-dependent and temperature-independent dye, respectively. The temperature responses of the two dyes were carefully measured for different concentrations. A novel normaliz...

the aim of this study has been to find answers for the following questions: 1. what is the effect of immediate correction on students pronunciation errors? 2. what would be the effect of teaching the more rgular patterns of english pronunciation? 3. is there any significant difference between the two methods of dealing with pronuciation errore, i. e., correction and the teaching of the regular ...
15 صفحه اولA Study of Substance non-use
120 persons belonging to the four different groups namely, students, unskilled workers, skilled workers and professionals were interviewed using a semi-structured interview schedule on subsunce non-use. Results were analysed using SPSS 7.5 version. 65% of the sample used, at least, one of the substances during their lifetime. Alcohol (55.8%) and nicotine (45%) were the commonly used substances ...
